Hawkhouse

The design negotiated a difficult south sloping site with southern views to Sandon Point. The new two storey dwelling is built around an open vertical courtyard and revolving circulation. This exploded plan and section lead to spatial surprises and an intimacy with its context, while funnelling light and air. Recycled hardwood is used in the cladding, floors and screens. A separate granny flat was built at the rear.
